A register for both sides of the trade

The India Nuclear Forum runs this register so that the organisations building India's nuclear programme can find each other without starting from a blank page every time.

01The problem it answers

India's nuclear programme is scaling toward 100 GWe by 2047, and the supply chain it needs does not yet exist at that size. Buyers re-run the same vendor searches; capable manufacturers never hear about the work; and both sides spend months establishing facts a profile could have carried. The register exists to collapse that.

02Why both sides are listed

Most supplier directories list only suppliers, which answers half the question. A forge that wants nuclear work needs to find the operators and EPC contractors as much as a procurement team needs to find the forge. So the register holds buyer and supplier organisations alike, and several buyers publish live requirements on their profiles.

03What verification is for

Anyone can claim an ASME certification on a website. Verification checks documents across company registration, business documents, certifications, products and services, and facility information — and says plainly when a certificate has lapsed. It is not a quality endorsement. It means the claims were evidenced.

04Who runs it

The India Nuclear Forum is an independent membership body convening industry, government, research and capital behind the nuclear programme. The register is one of its activities, alongside the annual India Nuclear Energy Forum, Nuclear.IN Magazine and its policy work.
